SUNDISA's success in the Premios Letra

SUNDISA returns to gain a prize in the Premios Letra. In this occasion Sundisa has taken the prize for the work of Rotulación en Interiorismo Efímero, it was carried out for the Exhibition " Navigators of the S:XXI " that took place in the Maritime Museum of Barcelona. In addition, we have obtained the Selection of the Juror in three more works: a large format canvas in the Plaza de las Arenas of Barcelona for Bread&Butter advertiser, DDP; also for the project developed for the “ONCE: Paralympics” exposed in Barajas airport and finally the Selection of the Juror for the best event coverage for 200 Anniversary of May 2 that took place in Madrid the week of May 2, a work for the producer FOCUS. The work consisted in a reproduction of 6 works of GOYA of linen on frame of more than 20 m2 of surface. Also a giant puzzle was printed in line with 5 mm, with pieces of 60x40 cms, that was mounted on the road of the Plaza de Oriente.

We are satisfied with the result and froma here we want to be grateful with the Juror who has selected and rewarded us.

Sundisa incorporates a great account: TOUS

TOUS has chosen SUNDISA for the Christmas campaign. Visual merchandising works will come soon to all the TOUS shop windows widespread around the world. Shortly, we will see the PLV works and we are carrying out the printing and installation of images in some malls as well, as the El Corte Inglés of Cornellà or that of Princesa in Madrid. In addition we carried out the impressive large format canvas that TOUS showed during July on the corner of Passeig de Gràcia and Gran Vía.

Cultural Girona

SUNDISA is consolidated in Gerona. One more year, cultural entities and main centers of leisure have trusted in SUNDISA. The graphic production of most relevant events and cultural actions have been realized by us: Perelada Festival, Temporada Alta Festival, Fira of Girona, Football Club Girona, Torroella de Montgrí Festival, Girona Art Museu, Equus and Marina Estartit.

SUNDISA in the Barcelona Bridal Week

Once more SUNDISA has decorated the city on the ocassion of the fair NOVIA ESPAÑA (Barcelona Bridal Week), celebrated between May 29th and first of June in the Fira of Barcelona. The fair has had a remarkable success of public with more than 11.500 visitors and a wide media repercussion that for some days converted Barcelona in the in world capital of the brides.

SUNDISA has carried out the printing and installation of a 160m2 canvas in Plaza España as well as flags, masts and vinyls printed digitally for the signaling of access to the Palace 8 of the Fair Gran Via 2, place where the event was celebrated.

200th anniversary of the Second of May

We have taken part actively in the brilliant acts of commemoration of the 200th Anniversary of the Second of May in Madrid, presided by its Mayor Mr. Alberto Ruiz-Gallardón.

We carry out the reproduction of the most representative 6 works of Goya (Los fusilamientos del 3 de mayo, La carga de los Mamelucos, La Maja vestida, La Maja desnuda, La familia de Carlos IV y el de La Reina María Luisa a caballo).  We have done it using a new technique of digital impression on canvas, but the difficulty of the project has been in the construction of some wooden frames of more than 20 square meters with a frame painted with bread of gold of about 20 cm of thickness (reinforced with metallic plates in all its perimeter to be able to be raised with cranes).


Gigantic puzzle in Plaza de Oriente

Also to commemorate this event, Sundisa has created a gigantic puzzle reproducing the image of Los fusilamientos del 3 de Mayo by Goya. The puzzle is consisted of more than 800 pieces of 60 X 40 cms printed on a white forex of 5 mm with a total area of 200 square meters.

The 800 pieces have been distributed for different schools of Madrid in order to hundreds of students between 11 and 14 years will paint the different pieces with the technique that they chose.

In the Plaza de Oriente we extended a frontlit canvas with the same image so that the students placed their respective pieces in the place indicated and making that a lot of students took part in the reconstruction of one of the most famous works of art in Spain. The result was unbelievable!

Amusement and culture for the youngest!

Great canvas in Girona

During these days, the citizens of Girona are enjoying a beautiful canvas of 150 m2, it was placed on Alemanys 5th street, right behind the Cathedral. The canvas reproduces a brilliant photography of a rose. We return once again to taking part in a new edition (53rd) of Girona, temps de flors.

This canvas is a clear example of the wide possibilities of uses and applications that the digital impression of great layout allows nowadays.

Itinerant exhibition: Peking 2008

We have just carried out a marvelous project for the ONCE with the producer EDIPREM. It is an itinerant exhibition of informative nature about the Paralympic Games, which will be celebrated in Peking once the Olympic Games finished.

The purpose of the ONCE was to create a "sea of buckets" in which different top athletes who give their support to the promotion of these games appeared accompanying some of the participants in the Paralympics Games of Peking. In total, more than 30 buckets of different measures are exposed and labeled with vinyl printed digitally.

The exhibition will have an approximate duration of  6 months and will travel through the most important cities of Spain. At present it is installed in the T2 of the Airport of Barajas, its next destination will be the Airport of Barcelona.

We grow in Madrid!

The growth of our office of Madrid is one of the main goals that we have imposed ourselves for 2008. We understand that a growth must pass necessarily by the introduction of an autonomous system of production in Madrid.

It is because of that we have incorporated a machine of digital impression for big layouts: machine VUTEK 3360 that allows printing width of 3 meters on canvas, paper and vinyl up to one.

In this line of improvements Fernando Silos López de Haro has joined Sundisa in January as new Chief Operating Officer of SUNDISA Madrid leading the Commercial Department and the new Production Department.

Lettering Hotel BARCELÓ Barajas

In Madrid we, FCM Darder, have carried out an amazing project for Paradigm. They ordered us the elaboration of a proposal for its customer Sampol-Barceló. The goal was to communicate in the most effective and most notorious way the construction of the new Hotel Barceló that will be situated forehead the Terminal 2 of Barajas.

LAYETANA: Canvas in the facade

Again in Madrid we have carried out an interesting project for Layetana
In total, more than 1.200 m2 of grid printed digitally that reproduces the state of the building after the rehabilitation will be finished.

GISA: Lettering of the works of the subway in Terrassa

We have carried out a great project for our customer GISA. The work consists of the closure of all the work that is being carried out in the Watercourse Egara de Terrassa for the construction of the new station of Metro.

The closure of all the perimeter of the work (about 300 meters!) has  done with galvanized sheet metal on which we have placed a vinyl printed digitally with antigrafitti rolling.

Work for Damm-FC Barcelona

We have carried out another great project for our customer DAMM in the Sport City of the FC Barcelona in Sant Joan Despí.

The project has consisted of the manufacture of a structure of iron of more than 300 square meters in which we have fixed a canvas printed digitally of these same measures.

Work for MANGO

We have carried out again one wonderful work for our big MANGO customer. MANGO moved us its need to achieve the senior impact and notoriety for the delivery of the MANGO FASHION AWARDS that was given in the Market of Sea of Barcelona among 4 and 6 November.

Canvas and corporeal for the Abadia Montserrat

At the end of 2008 a new organ will be installed (spectacular, by the way!) in the Abadia Montserrat. For communicating it at the hundreds of persons who every day visit it, we have carried out a very beautiful work.

We have installed some canvases of formed big one in which the image of the organ is replayed in a building adjacent to the Abbey. Besides, in the inside of the Abadia we have installed a corporeal element with the reproduction at scale of the new organ.

PRIZES LETRA. Again, champions!!!

At the end of October the VIII delivery of the prestigious Prizes has taken place Letra on the occasion of the celebration in Madrid of the Fair Sign-Viscom of the Industria of the Visual Comunication.

Again we have presented different works carried out during the year in some of the categories and we have won in 2 of them. Works for Roca and Spiderman film.

Spectacular work for the Indoor karting

Another magnificent project!! We have carried out and have fixed a structure of iron 66 x 5 meters for him 'Indogolden Karting Sant Feliu de Llobregat.

In this structure we have fixed a canvas of light polyester printed digitally for CAKE-COLA|GLUE and CAKE-COLA|GLUE ZERO.

More than 300 square meters, in total, of impact for all the customers of the Karting!!
